Date: Sat, 30 Sep 2000 06:17:44 -0600 Roger, I just cut&pasted the following from my notes that I wrote up. For once I was not super-thorough, and might have missed a few, so if you think of some we did, that I didn't list, you're probably right. We worked pretty hard on Sabralli Sa Se Sabralli and Baldazka, and got those 2 down pretty well, though they're still not completely ingrained. Reviewed Sapri Tama, did Orijent, Raca, Galaonul de la Birca (that's coming along), Bucimis (that's coming alng), Jove Malaj Mome, Legnala Dana, Vranjansko Kolo (gotta get that music!), Miserlu to different music, Ajde Jano to different music, I'll have to check my notes in the morning or Sunday evening. We did put on a tape and just dance to it, my Side B of "Just Dance" had Floricica, Jacob's Ladder, we skipped Troika, did Ma Na Vu, Ali Pasa, Erev Ba, Alunelul, Vrapceto, Debka Kafrit. Also, some people did the hambo to some new music Russ had (Sarah, Jon, Marvin, & Jackie). Five of us so far seem seriously interested in going to Calgary, and I'll have registration sheets tonight. Jackie Zelman, you, me, Sarah, & Russ. Jerry would not come after all, we've talked about it, and I can go but he would not. I e-mailed the lady in Calgary (Helen Winkler) and told her to count on 3 women and 2 men, none related, just so she could do some guestroom planning, realizing that until registration money is in hand, nothing is set in concrete. I told her that all of us were perfectly capable of sleeping on the floor, all we needed from a host was floor space and a shower. ;-) See you tonight, remember we start at 6:30.
