Wednesday* Free dance lessons, 7:30pm at the Blue Moon on HWY 2 West of Columbia Falls. They are taught by Melanie and Alex of Dance Montana. Each week a different step is taught. Varies between: two step, west coast swing, east coast swing, waltz, nightclub, cha cha. Thursday* Learn to do Western Line dance, meet at the Sons of Norway, 6:30pm, $3.00. Friday* Swing dancing at the Salvation Army Gym, Friday May 21, 2004 "Swing Spring Fling Thing" 7:00-10:00PM. Admission is free. Big Band music from the Kalispell Christian Center's "Swingin' On High" 18-piece band. Swing and sway to standards by Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Benny Goodman, and many more. Next Saturday, The "Spring International Folk Dance" in Bozeman, May 22nd. We'll leave Saturday morning, arrive in Bozeman in the early afternoon. Dance. Eat dinner. Dance somemore. Stay overnight. Dance a little more then head home, back Sunday early evening. There will be no folk dancing at the Salvation Army Gym that weekend.
