Greetings Dancers,

International Folk Dancing in Kalispell is this Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Salvation Army Community Center gym, 
110 Bountiful Drive. We dance from 8 to 10 p.m. All survivors of Friday the 13th are invited to attend. After this
weekend we will return to regular hours and dance from 7 to 10 p.m.

Kalispell IFD will be cancelled next Saturday, Sept. 21, since several will be heading for Bozeman country for the
6th annual Dancing in the Country weekend at Hallie's Weather Rock Barn (see the attached flyer for details or
consult our web site).

In Missoula, Mike Sweet will host a series of classes in International Folk Dance at The Barn Movement Studio on
selected Fridays from 7:30-9 pm.
The dates are September 27, October 11 and 25, November  8 and 22, and December 6. The cost is a suggested $3
donation. Please bring comfortable shoes for dancing.  NO STREET SHOES! The address of The Barn Movement Studio
in Missoula is 2926 S 3rd St W (in back behind the house).  It is a great space to dance in. There is limited
parking. Overflow parking can be found at Hawthorne School across the street.
 
Each class will stand on its own, so attend as many as you can.  The purpose of the class is to introduce newcomers
to the world of International Folk Dance, but old-timers should have an equally good time.  There will not be any
open or request dancing.  If there is interest in scheduling some nights for request dancing The Barn Movement Studio
has a few other time slots available for that opportunity. For morel information contact:

Oct. 11-13 Ira Weisburd will be in Calgary to lead a weekend dance workshop sponsored by Calgary Folkdance Fridays.
